The bike industry is constantly evolving and innovating, and one of the most recent examples of that is the introduction of 35mm handlebars on most all-mountain, enduro, and downhill mountain bikes. In Lezyne Model Year 9 (Y9), we introduced a high strength rubber mounting strap for all of our XL lights, and then in Y10, introduced an XXL version of the strap for our XXL lights (also compatible with Y11 i Lights). These straps offer maximum flexibility for all handlebars sizes including 22.2mm, 25.4mm, 26.0mm, 31.8mm, and 35mm.
If you have an Y9 XXL light (Deca 1500 or Super 1200), you can switch from the hard mount to the XXL Strap. If you have the rubber strap, but you'd like your new Lezyne light to fit an old hard mount from a previous light you owned, we offer an adapter.
If you own a Y5 through Y8 light, your light is not compatible with the rubber straps, so it will not be compatible with new 35mm handlebars. As a result, if you are interested in transitioning your pre-Y9 light to your helmet, we do offer both a composite matrix helmet mount and an aluminum one.
For GPS, we offer our GPS forward mount for 31.8mm handlebars, and all of our GPS devices ship with our standard O-ring-style mount which can mount on the stem or anywhere on the handlebars. This year, we began offering an additional mount which interfacing with the stem bolts on a stem's face plate. There's a photo and a link in the comments below.
