You can create route from scratch using the GPS Ally app Route Builder. A route can be made by simply choosing a destination and letting the app provide you with a route, or by selecting waypoints you'd like to follow.

App Routing Based on Destination

This is the quickest and easiest way to get turn-by-turn directions on a Lezyne device, but it is only in one direction. You won't be able to make a loop or follow a specific route. Automatic re-routing is available only in this mode.

1. Ensure that your GPS device and Lezyne Ally app are connected.
2. Navigate to the Navigation module in the app.
3. Type in a location or tap on your desired location on the map.
4. The device will ask you to confirm that you want directions to that location. Select Ok.
5. It will then present different route options based on the mapping services that we utilize. Select one by tapping on its line on the map.
6. Select Go, and the app will send turn-by-turn directions to your GPS device.
   • Note: Once the app has sent the directions, you no longer need a connection to your phone unless you go off route and need re-routing.

Designing a Route

You can build a route, of any length or any shape, right from your app and save it for use at any time.

1. Ensure that your GPS device and Lezyne Ally app are connected.
2. Navigate to the Navigation module in the app.
3. In the upper right corner of the screen, is three lines (iPhone) or 3 dots (Android). Tap them.
4. Select Create Route. 
5. Type in a location or tap on your desired starting location on the map.
6. Repeat step five to create as many waypoints as is necessary to build your route.
7. Once finished, either save and name the route, or select Go and the app will send turn-by-turn directions to your GPS device.
