Some apps can consume a lot of your phone's battery life. Huawei prevents this by limiting the influence of all apps on their phones. Unfortunately, this can negatively impact the functionality of the Lezyne Ally App, but there is a workaround.

Round One

First, go into your settings, and select Battery.

Then, select Launch.

Find the Lezyne Ally v2 app, and select Manage manually.

Leave Auto-launch, Secondary launch, and Run in background selected.

Select OK.

Round Two

Go into your settings, and search "app."

Select Exempt from battery optimization.

Select Exempt from battery optimization a second time.

It'll be sorted by Allowed.

Change sorting to All apps.

Find the Lezyne Ally v2 app and select it.

Change it to Allow.

This should help considerably with any communication issues you may be seeing between your Lezyne GPS device and your Huawei phone, but results may vary depending on the exact model.
