Certain Y10 GPS devices will need a patch update to counter a problem in their GPS timestamp data recording.
For any files already recorded as 2006, you can use a 3rd party service like FIT File Tools to correct the date.

These instructions cover a manual install method that is being released to allow for a quicker resolution. If you would like to wait for a slightly more packaged solution, we expect to have one soon.
Download Firmware
Download the .ZIP file for your GPS model by clicking on the model name for the appropriate region.
Unzip the folder and open it. Set it aside.
NOTE: Windows may flag this file as a virus since it contains a Windows Batch File. You will need to temporarily disable or bypass this check to be able to use this utility.
Bootloader Mode
For this step you will need a USB cable that passes data. This could be the Lezyne-branded cable your device came with, or any other that is verified. The easiest way to verify data connection is to see if your computer recognizes your GPS as a USB storage drive.
With the device OFF, place the GPS into Bootloader mode:
| Hold down the Enter and Lap buttons while plugging it into your computer for a Super GPS device. | Hold down the Enter and Menu buttons while plugging it into your computer for a Micro C (+Watch) GPS device. | |
When plugged in, you can release the buttons. You will know the device is in Bootloader Mode because the charging indication will not be on the screen, even though the GPS is plugged in to your computer. It also will not show up in your file explorer.
You can make this easier by plugging the cord into the GPS first, then holding the buttons down while plugging the cable into the computer.
Begin Installation
With the GPS plugged into the computer in bootloader mode, and the extracted folder open on your computer, drag and drop the BIN file over the BAT (Batch) file.
A Windows Command Utility window will open. Let it run until you see the completion message.
You can then disconnect your device, and it should be set to function at today's date.
If you have any problems with this process, please submit a request for support, and let us know which step did not respond as expected.
