If you haven't emptied the memory on you GPS device in a while, you might hit record and get the Memory Full message. In this case, make sure all of your rides are loaded to the Lezyne Root site, and then you can either...
- Clear the memory from the device itself
- Turn on your GPS device.
- Enter the Main Menu.
- Navigate to Records.
- Select Erase or Erase All.
- Clear the memory from the Ally App
- Turn on your GPS device
- Open the Lezyne Ally or Ally v2 App
- Navigate to the Device module all the way to the left.
- Select Refresh if necessary.
- Check the boxes next to all the rides you'd like to delete.
- Select the trash can icon in the upper left corner of the screen on iPhones or upper right corner on Androids.
- Clear the memory manually by plugging it into your home computer
- Note: this will vary depending on your operating system.
- Plug GPS device into your home computer. The device will show-up on your computer as an external drive.
- Navigate to the GPS device.
- Select the Lezyne folder.
- Select the Activities folder.
- Highlight all the activities.
- Right-click and select Delete, or drag them to the trash.
- Important note: if you are on a Mac, you must empty the trash before ejecting the GPS device from the computer.
- Note: this will vary depending on your operating system.
If you've gone through the above processes and it's still displaying the message, or you've deleted from a Mac in the past without emptying the trash, your best option might be to restore the device to factory defaults.
- Download our firmware updater here.
- Open the firmware updater.
- Go into the pull-down menu. On Windows, the firmware updater has the pull-down menu in the upper right hand corner where it says Lezyne Gps Firmware Programmer. On a Mac, the pull-down menu is next to the Apple icon in the upper right corner of your screen where it says Lezyne-Firmware-Programmer.
- Select Restore device to factory defaults.
- Note: this will erase everything from the device, including firmware, settings, and rides, and then re-install the firmware. If you don't want to lose your settings or your odometer mileage, cut and paste the Settings folder and the Totals folder from the device to your desktop. When you're done restoring the device, cut and paste the two folders from your desktop back to the Lezyne folder on the device.
This should get everything working again for you!
