A great feature with the integration of Komoot is the ability to use with almost all of our GPS devices. Your device must be updated to the most current firmware.
Navigating with Komoot
- Open GPS Ally V2 app that is paired with a Lezyne GPS device.
- In the Android app, select the three dashes in the upper left corner. In the iPhone app, select the More tab.
- Select Komoot (iOS) or Komoot Tours (Android)
- Choose a saved tour, and after it loads, press “GO” to send to your GPS device (If no tours appear, you will need to login to Komoot and plan a tour)
- Turn-by-turn directions are now displayed on the GPS. Lezyne GPS devices with the map screen selected will show an overlaid path to follow.
NOTE: You do not need to be recording an activity to navigate a route, and you can navigate multiple routes while recording one activity. They are separate functions.
Once you have finished with your ride, you can share your activity to Komoot. You will need to open the activity file. This file can be found on the GPS device or on GPS Root, once the ride has been uploaded.
Sharing activity to Komoot via GPS Ally V2 App:

- Go to your Rides section.
- Select a previously recorded ride you wish to upload.
- Click on Share (iOS: Square with arrow pointing up, Android: Three dots at the top right).
- Select Komoot
Your ride is now able to be viewed in Komoot. You can view the activity, add photos from the ride, and tag friends who rode along.
Sharing activity to Komoot via GPS FIT file:
- Plug in the Lezyne GPS device to your PC with the supplied USB cable
- Locate the activity on the GPS device in the “Activity” folder
- Login to Komoot.com on your PC
- Click on your profile (upper right corner of screen) and select “Planned”
- Next click “Import a GPS File”
- You will need to locate the ride under your Activities folder for the GPS device
- Select “Import as Activity”
Your ride is now able to be viewed in Komoot. You can view the activity, add photos from the ride, and tag friends who rode along.
When importing a ride this way, you can select “Import to Plan a Route”. This will allow you to create a Komoot tour with an existing ride you have already completed.
