Follow these instructions to set up a new GPS.
1. Make sure GPS Firmware is up to date:
Brand new GPS devices might need to be updated out of the box. Here are the instructions to update your GPS Firmware: https://support.lezyne.com/hc/en-us/articles/115004343253-Updating-your-GPS-device
2. Personal Settings:
The first time a GPS is turned on, you'll be asked a few questions for personal data setup. These can be changed anytime from the GPS menu.
3. Phone/GPS Pairing:
Download the Lezyne GPS Ally V2 app from the Google Play Store or the iPhone App Store. Pairing video and instructions are located here: https://support.lezyne.com/hc/en-us/articles/115004090734-Phone-Pairing-Video-included-
4. Set-up data pages:
Data pages can be changed through the GPS Menu > Screen > Data Pages. You can edit the number of data pages, how many data fields on each page, and where the data fits in best for you.
Data pages can also be setup through the app once your GPS is paired with your phone. This video shows the process: https://youtu.be/DoRuBhq5Mb8?list=PL8ipWUa9YiCNykbkNSiWEmawoDsXTu5ur

Make sure your sensor is turned on/awake. Go to your GPS Menu > Sensors > Select Sensor Type > Scan for BTLE or ANT+. You'll see the sensor name and signal pop up.
6. Recording a ride:
Make sure the GPS has a strong GPS signal, which is shown on the main screen next to the GPS battery icon. Press the Lap button (bottom right) once to begin recording. When you have finished riding and are ready to save the file, hold the Lap button for (2) seconds and then select Save. You can also Resume, Discard, or go to the Main Menu from this action.
7. Upload ride file:
Once you have saved a ride, the file will save to the GPS and also upload to your phone if you have auto-sync turned on with your phone paired. The file will save to your GPS Root account: https://www.lezyne.com/gpsroot/gps_login.php
