The Strip Drive's versatility and high lumen output has made it a very popular light. One of its great features is the lightweight USB stick that plugs directly into a USB port for charging the light (also used on the KTV, Hecto, and Micro Drives). An important thing to pay attention to with that USB stick is that it doesn't have anything to prevent it from being plugged in upside-down. As a result, we do get a few calls about the light "not charging" or not getting a proper run time. In both cases, it's a result of the light not being plugged in correctly. Here are a couple photos to display how to plug the light in correctly.
One side of the stick has brass terminals...
...and one side doesn't.
There are corresponding terminals in the USB port. The two sets of terminals need to face each other. If the light is charging, it will have a green flashing light while plugged in. If the green light isn't flashing, remove the light from the port, flip it 180 degrees, and re-insert it.
